Established in 2004 as the first private airline in Kuwait.. It operates 55 flights to 28 destinations in 15 countries including arab countries in the region of persian gulf like Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman and also Egypt, India, Syria, Qatar, Cyprus, Yemen,, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and in near future Iran.
Kuwait Airport is rated the best in the Persian Gulf in terms of operational efficiency in the first quarter of 2009, Board Chairman of the Jazeera Airways told during the inauguration of a new destination for the airline between Kuwait and Egypt’s Red Sea resort of Hurghada.
Affirming the airline operates six daily flights to Dubai for tourists and businesspersons, He added the airline is on the verge of operating three flights each to Beirut and Alexandria. He also unveiled plans to operate flights to Iran in the nearest future.
Jazeera Airways is scheduled to receive its ninth and 10th aircraft within the next two weeks, which will give the company a strong momentum to pursue its plans for expanding its occupancy capacity and enhance its competitive edge
